It is time that I let go of my baby. I brought this girl up from Arizona a couple years ago and has only one small bit of rust on the passenger rear fender flair and nothing else. Has the original paint which is faded and sunbaked, but in my opinion that just makes it more badass. I have been slowing adding onto this cherokee for the past couple years. It runs great and has never let me down. I currently use it as a daily driver. Here's a list of everything done to it. Just went through the whole engine and did a full gasket kit.
Engine: Original AMC 360 Rebuilt about 10000 miles ago
Edelbrock performer intake and 650 carb
New water pump
Electric fuel pump (no more overheating of the stock mechanical pump)
H.E.I. ignition
Transmission:
Stock TH400 rebuilt in April 2011
TCI rebuild kit with shift kit
Rebuilt torque converter-April 2011
Transfer case:
Dana 300 from a 83 jeep cj
Advanced adapters twin stick kit (front 2wd low, rear 2wd hi/low, 4x4 hi/low) Advanced adapters th400-dana 300 adapter
JB Conversions 32 spline front output shaft kit
JB Conversions 32 spline rear output shaft kit
All new bearings and seals
All done in April 2011
Driveshafts:
Rear shortened and rebuilt
Front rebuilt
Done in April 2011
Rear axle:
Dana 44 3.73 gears
Stripped and painted
TMR diff cover
Front axle:
Dana 44 3.73 gears
RPM Offroad drive flanges
Brakes:
Hydroboost from astro van with high pressure lines made
New lines
New proportioning vavle
New master cyliner
Rear disc brake kit from the street rod manufacture
85 elderado calipers and pads all brand new (this thing is heavy and with the bigger tires it was hard to stop but with the upgraded brakes it stops on a dime)
All done in April 2011
Interior:
Brand new carpet from auto custom carpets-April 2011
Floor was painted with por15 and will never ever rust
Floor lined with dynomat as well as roof
Pioneer head unit, pioneer door speakers, infinity rear passenger speakers 5x7.5 and blaupunkt amp
Exterior:
Custom made rear bumper with 1/4" steel
Custom made rear tire swingout with gas can mount
Custom made light bar with 4 7" hella lights (can fit 6)
Razor grill from an earlier wagoneer with brand new lights
2 33" BFG AT and 2 Goodyear Wranglers (was looking to get two more AT's), 15" steel d window wheels
33" bfg all terrain on 15" d window wheel on the tire carrier
4" lift kit with spare 6" front lift springs
Electrical:
Optima yellow top battery
Upgraded CS-130 100 amp alternator will handle just about anything
Body and chassis:
Original paint
Nothing cut a few dents and dings but no major damage
One spot of rust on the right rear fender and nothing else
A few new pieces of weatherstriping.
This thing goes wherever you want it to. I have never had it stuck. If you would like some more pictures feel free to ask. Price is negotiable and any trades will be considerd. It is liscenced and driveable right now. Just needs new rear section of the e-brake cable. I am located in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
The Bad:
Needs a clocking ring for the transfer case (looking to get one in the next couple weeks)
Speedometer doesn't work ( something with the cable going to the transfer case)
Timing needs to be set properly (working on that)
It needs some TLC. It will be an awesome driver with just a little work.
Letting it go for much less than what I have into it. Please feel free to send me a REASONABLE offer
