Considerable $$ and time recently invested by knowledgeable Toyota enthusiasts. Pretty nice car now, reliable runner. Drive it home.

Temporary Price Reduction - Firm: - will be going up to $1900 next week if not sold. Will be putting more time and money into it then if not sold first.

Attn: Drifters ...this car is probably not for you...too nice to be thrashed and trashed....have fun by all means....just use up one or more of the rusted rattier cars....hey, use up a.lot of them...will help my car increase in value..

Surprisingly low rust Celica Supra. Runs and drive very well. And still looks good - very good for its age. Guessing at 222,000 km - 5 digit speedo. Quite a bit of work done recently. Drove it daily for awhile. Mostly parked since snow, with occasional fair weather runs to keep things from seizing up.

Looks good and runs good as is, or take it up a notch or 2 - body is good enough to justify putting time and money into it.

A 30 yr old car isn't for everyone, but these old Toyotas have quite a lot going for them. Looks - either you like the looks or not. Unique - for sure, you won't be seeing a lot of these on the road. As a driving experience, this is a very solid and satisfying vehicle - has character. Reliable. Comfortable - a decent long distance cruiser. Parts are pretty easy to get, and not expensive. More power than a lot of newer economy cars. Decent fuel economy too. Quality materials - lot heavier built than most newer cars. Easy to work on yourself. Rear drive is pleasing and fun too (especially if you're old like me and grew up on r drive, or like to spin wheels and slide around a bit - amuses the girls). Personally, I prefer an old vehicle in better than average shape as compared to something newer than anyone can drive.

Nicely equipped with: AC, power windows & locks, cruise control, various luxury and convenience features. Optional sunroof (hand crank).

An upgraded Celica with stretched front end to hold the bigger inline six. Same body as Celica from firewall back, except has independent rear suspension - which is a good thing. Plus rear disk brakes.

Well priced - look around for yourself....only ones I've seen lately that are probably nicer have been over $3000. And they probably need some money and TLC too.

I'm an old coot with too many project vehicles - need to thin out the collection - for sanity, cash, and parking space. Plus have to make room for 2 or 3 more vehicles I've purchased.

Price goes up the more I put into the car.

Not a piece of junk, or a huge project , or rusted out beyond hope as many or most of the Mk1 or Mk2 Supras are today. There's an awful lot of Supras sitting in someones yard or garage right now that don't run and many never will - buy this car and be the exception, not the rule.

Looks to be all stock (except rims) - not chopped up or modded.

Rear wheel drive. 5 speed manual tranny. 4 wheel disk brakes.

Smooth running 2.6 litre inline 6 motor - 4ME. Fuel injected, SOHC. Starts right up and runs nice even in the cooler weather (-5/-10 without plugging in). Block heater too.

About $1000-1500 worth of work recently. Head gasket replaced. Head measured for warps and was within spec. Tune up. New water pump, fuel filters, thermostat, wipers, rotor and cap, couple hoses, Amsoil injector/intake treatment. Upgraded battery. Exhaust tidied up. Looks like fuel pump and ebrake cables not that long ago.

More work planned: If not sold - (price goes to $1900) - will be changing out the tranny and rear end fluids to Amsoil full synthetics. Plus I've located a heater valve so might get that changed out. Looking seriously now for a rear window, and may take it to my mechanic to see about getting door latches working. Have also purchased a set of good used door hinges, which may help doors.

Runs down the road rather well. Very smooth at 120/130, and will pull 140/150 plus without complaint. Strong motor with no nasty noises - a real nice motor actually. More i drive it more i appreciate this engine.
Body is quite solid and tight still. Doesn't have the power of the later Supras with DOHC, but does have that nice inline 6 smoothness with lots of torque. Pulls from 1000 rpm. Nice around town too.

Clutch nice, tranny fair to good (reverse seems hard to engage when hot, but shifts well otherwise - could be am not used to it), brakes good, steering good, suspension fair to good (probably a set of rear shocks would be a good plan - they're the simple cheap kind). Body and paint good to very good for the year - some clouding/peeling of clear coat, signs of an old repaint of hood and driver's side panels., but very little damage or rusting, and still shiny overall. Bumpers are discolored (or been painted over?) but in nice shape asnd should clean up well. Chrome all nice - shiny, straight, all there - even the small trim. The car looks good.

Clean under the hood with very little corrosion.

Would say it is 90-95% rust free. Way better than most old Toyotas. Looks to have come from Medicine Hat area which could explain lack of rust. Rockers still solid. No rust at all around windshield or rear hatch or gas door. Floor seems solid too, though i haven't had it up on a hoist for a super close look. Not seeing any rust holed through anywhere. I gave up on my last Supra due to rust - nice to see this one so good.

Most everything working except heater cold/hot control - puts out warm, but not real hot. AC not cold but everything spins so should be not too nasty a fix. Has working cruise control. Even emergency brake works.

Interior fair to good - seat a little soft, could use bit of a cleaning, and a kind of discoloration/hardening of the fabric on parts of seats - may or may not clean up well. Seats not torn or ripped or worn through. Some panels off by rear windows (think i have them all). Dash is real nice - no cracks. All original - even stereo and separate cassette deck. Steering wheel not cracked.

4612ghd 20

Windshield good - some wiper scuffs, but no major cracks or chips.

Things you might want to fix, or not - just drive it?: Rear window passenger side, black Supra panel on driver's door pillar (glass cracked), heater valve or whatever, door hinges and maybe handle latches (doors hard to adjust and doors don't close nice). Rear hatch struts weak. Signal light stalk worn and would be nice to replace it - still works. Oil pressure and Charging gauges not working consistently. Maybe rear shocks.

5246e21 20

Rims from MkII Supra - good shape. The classic BF Goodrich TA tires with 65% tread (measured, not guessing). These wheels are worth a few bucks - as in $4-500 range. If you want to grind on the price, I'll keep the wheels.

Car seems to have LSD - Limited Slip Differential (Positrack). A very nice thing to have. Helps make for a surprisingly good winter car - should you need to plow through some snow, you will be impressed.

Includes Haynes manual.

Car is in Three Hills - about 1 1/2 hr NE of Calgary or 1 hr SE of Red Deer.

Could possibly drive part way to show the car to serious buyer.

Описание может и грамотное, но избыточное. По опыту - 10 строк примерно - это макс. Потом просто уже не воспринимает современный народ инфу.
