1983 Land Rover Defender 90, 2.5 diesel engine, AWD with diff lock, 5 speed manual, LHD, only 16,500 km, soft top, one of the first once imported for the Canadian military, all aluminum body – so no rust, runs great, bought it from military auction few months ago but decided to part with it. Comes with all the paperwork proving that the vehicle has only 16,500 kilometers, new spare tire.

known issues-

1. Body was “army green” till somebody in the military decided to paint it “desert storm” with a brush.
2. Body has multiple dents and truck bed has a 2 inch puncture.
3. Interior very worn but all seems to be working.
4. Needs an out of province inspection prior to registering.
5. I drove it about 5 km at which point the brakes? started to seize up and the vehicle would loose power with wheels getting really hot. After a cool down period I drove her back home without issues. Not exactly sure what the issue is but I don’t have money to get it inspected or fixed.
6. Needs new tires.
7. I do have the cloth top for it but it has holes and paint on it only kept it so it can be used as a template for new top.
8. Does blow white smoke at start up but once the engine gets warm there is no smoke.
