Well lets start with this was my first car, bought it 18 years ago. It's a 1980 Mercury Zephyr Z7 sport Coupe same as Ford Fairmont. Now has a 5.0L auto drivetrain. It is also a rare floor shift car most were column shift. It also has RARE black interior
I had a maaco paint job done which didn't hold up to well. so I put the car away for the last 14 years. It has black interior and I replaced the front fenders due to rust on the lips. I removed the original inline 6 and replaced it with a 302 from a 85 mustang also put a C4 tranny with a shift kit in and put in a 8.8 rear end from a 86 mustang. suspension wise I lowered it with a Eibach pro kit all new ball joints, tie rods etc etc. Exhaust was done at Zorro it's a custom 2.5" exhaust w/high flow cats and flowmaster mufflers. I was planning on having it painted and reliving my youth but plans have changed.
what it needs now isn't to much other than some body work on the rear quarter panels and new tires
